About the Opportunity
As a senior commercial lawyer for a well-recognised consumer brand, you will lead on complex, business critical contracts relating to distribution and logistics, ocean and air freight, movement of goods and customs services. This is a varied position and in addition, you will also lead on negotiations in relation to a range of other matters including business projects and procurement, particularly on a cross-border basis. Whilst certainly part of the European legal team, the role will best suit an individual who can directly support the business on complex negotiations.
About You
Experience of large transactions particularly relating to distribution and logistics is key; more general corporate and commercial experience will be highly regarded. Experience in and an understanding of industry which relate to the movement of goods across borders would be welcome. A corporate background would be useful, although a commercial contracts background is also key. The ability to foster strong working relationships and work with a highly commercial, international business is essential.
