The Opportunity
The company needs a senior commercial lawyer, ideally German qualified, to join its European team. The role can be based in Frankfort or London (with a great deal of flexibility). The purpose of the position is to lead on business critical commercial contracts, often relating to large procurement negotiations as well as major equipment contracts, supply contracts and security services. You will support negotiations with suppliers and subcontractors on a European and global scale and you will provide legal advice on commercial negotiations.
About You
This opportunity will be best suit a lawyer with strong commercial awareness and a background in infrastructure/construction or projects or commercial/technology. Key is the ability to lead on business critical, high value and ofter multi-jurisdictional commercial contracts. Experience in complex procurement would be highly regarded. An international mindset and the ability to operate commercially within an international business is also key. The position will suit an individual with experience of working in a European legal team and someone who is comfortable working directly with the business.
