About the Opportunity
The role will work directly with the company’s technology stakeholders, including the CTO and the innovations team, taking the lead on supporting the tech strategy for the business. The company operates in a very competitive space and this position will manage and oversee the negotiation of high profile technology contracts which are key to ensuring the company’s competitive edge. The position also manages the lawyers who procure all things needed for the business to run efficiently and as a result, knowledge of complex procurement contracts is key, both tech and otherwise. The business is investing heavily in innovation and automation; it is a good time for a senior technology lawyer to be joining the business.
About You
The role will suit a technology law with management experience who can lead and guide a legal team in relation to technology strategy and support for a complex, consumer led business. This is a highly visible role within the organisation and along with a strong tech background, excellent relationship development skills are key. Previous in-house experience of working with a tech business or in a tech role with a consumer business would suit well. The ability to work with stakeholders in different areas and at different levels across the business is also key.
