The Opportunity
The business now has an opportunity for a construction lawyer to join the European legal team in London. You will provide dedicated legal support on both existing and proposed construction projects, most of which are high profile and based around the UK. You will also support on some projects in Europe. You will lead on negotiations and contracts relating to multi-purpose projects, apartment projects and heritage projects as well as large commercial and industrial developments. You will have the opportunity to work closely with commercial and project teams, advising on projects from the outset and working on long-term developments.
About You
This opportunity is well suited to a construction lawyer with development experience. Key is the ability to negotiate with multiple parties and ensure the common goals are sustained and the standards of the company (particularly in relation to sustainability) are upheld. Knowledge of standard from construction engineering and partnership contracts contracts is key, as is the ability to utilise these in a commercial setting. Any additional experience of real estate finance, litigation or property law would also be welcome.
